Made for only a brief moment in the mid to late '90s, this gorgeous X-700 features a 17" wide hollow body with a solid spruce top in natural blonde finish. The back & sides show off some truly beautiful flame figuring in the maple as does the neck. The double humbuckers deliver warm, rich tones & thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, the guitar is ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age - very clean with only some mild surface scratches & light tarnish on the gold hardware.
Neck: Flame maple neck with multi-layer binding. Ebony fingerboard with abalone & mother of pearl triangle/block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Guild & "G" inlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single-cutaway, fully hollow body with 17" lower bout width. Solid spruce top with multi-layer binding & dual F-holes. Unoriginal Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with fixed wire arm & compensated ebony bridge. 5-ply stairstep black pickguard & gold hardware. Flame maple back & sides with multi-layer binding. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Guild humbuckers with black bezels. Master volume & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs & Guild inserts. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
