A delightful, hollow body jazz box in a beautiful natural finish. The guitar displays some pretty flame figuring, particularly on the back of the neck. Superb tone & feel, offering hours of playing enjoyment. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fabulous.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some tarnish on the gold hardware.
Neck: Slender profile flame maple neck with cream binding & black micro side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear & have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield inlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. Some of the gold has worn off the tuner buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single cutaway, hollow maple body with multiple top & back binding. Harp-style trapeze tailpiece with gold finish. Compensated rosewood bridge on a floating rosewood base. Unoriginal single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7.5 oz.
Pickups: Guild humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. A couple of cracks in the bezels needed to be glued. Dual volume & tone controls with Guild "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
