Description
This Guild GAD-50 is an excellent acoustic for players who love big, bold tones. Based on the beloved D-50 Bluegrass Special, the GAD-50 sports solid woods and has a gorgeous voice with plenty of projection. It also boasts a cool and classic aesthetic with its multi-ring rosette, tortoiseshell pickguard, and natural gloss finish. If you've been looking for a reliable workhorse dreadnought, this is the perfect guitar.
Cosmetic Condition: Very Good. There's minor playwear on the front and back of the body, but nothing that detracts from its clean look.
Neck: Solid mahogany neck with a 20 fret Indian rosewood fingerboard and ornate Mother-of-Pearl inlays. The frets are in great condition with minimal wear, and the truss rod is fully functional. Neck measures 0.82" thick at the 1st fret and 0.94" thick at the 9th fret.
Body: This Guild's solid Indian rosewood back and sides give it a warm, woody resonance with deep lows and full-bodied mids, while its dreadnought-style body gives it ample projection. Capped with a solid Sitka spruce top, it delivers plenty of top-end clarity. Weighs 4 lbs. 15.5 oz.
Case: Ships with the original hardshell case
