Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding D-40 with a very comfortable neck. The sound is very full and warm with well-balanced highs, mids and lows. This particular one has plenty of volume on tap and some nice natural resonance.
Condition: This guitar is in very good shape overall! There are various surface scratches, some small nicks and dings and some weather checking throughout the guitar. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. Truss rod cover is holding on by one screw otherwise all parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: double-bound dreadnought body with solid Spruce top and mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with an ivoroid saddle, tortoise pickguard and white/black rosette.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 25 5/8” scale length.
Weight: 4lbs, 11.9oz.
Case: Includes the original hardshell case. The tolex is torn in some areas, otherwise the case functions fine.
