Description

Looking for the ultimate jazz guitar? Look no further than the Guild A-150 Savoy. This fully hollow body features an arched solid spruce top with an arched flamed maple back and flamed maple sides. A period-correct DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000 floating pickup completes this homage to the original jazzboxes of the 50s with its warm, quintessentially "jazz" tone that has come to define the genre as a whole. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with some mild surface scratches. The word "USED" is stamped into the back of the headstock & a new serial number is covering the original serial number on the label inside the body.

Neck: Mahogany neck with maple center strip. Cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a little bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Grover open-back tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double bound, fully hollow body finished in Antique Sunburst finish. Solid spruce top with dual F-holes. Guild "harp" trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge on a floating base. Single-ply black pickguard with gold trim & Guild logo. Flamed maple back & sides. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 0.7 oz.

Electronics: DeArmond 1000 Rhythm Chief floating pickup with master volume mounted to the pickguard.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
