Description
A gently used USA Made Gretsch drum kit. The drums were manufactured between 2003 - 2005 but it's been shelved for most of its life. It's been played just a few times as a "house kit" here at Cream City Music. It is in excellent, near mint condition with a few very small dents or dings in the finish and a small amount of indentation on the bass drum hoop from the kick pedal. There is an issue with the floor tom shell. On the interior of the shell near a bracket you can see what looks like a split in the shell. It does not appear to go through the shell but just the innermost ply. There is no visible damage on the outside of the shell. See photo's. Details
The highlight of this configuration is the 16" x 18" bass drum, typically with 18" bass drums you'll see a vintage style 14" depth. This drum with a depth of 16" hits quite a bit deeper with a lower fundamental tone than a shallower shell. It's really a phenomenal sounding kick drum! The kit comes with the more traditional 8" x12" rack tom and 14" x14" floor tom sizes. The bass drum has no mounts for a tom holder. The tom has a Gretsch branded rim mount with Gretsch bracket. The bass drum has the original factory heads that has a little wear on the batter head. The toms have the original resonant head and newer Remo Vintage Ambassador batter heads that are nearly new with just a few stick marks.
