This is the super fun "Jim Dandy" model flat top dreadnought acoustic guitar from Gretsch. The Jim Dandy is a great, inexpensive guitar that sounds surprisingly good, considering its modest price. It has a pleasantly lo-fi sound that recalls the simple entry-level flat tops of the 1940s. Its voice is woody, punchy, full, and works remarkably well for big, bold strumming.
It doesn't just sound nice, though - its playability far exceeds its vintage counterparts. Its "C"-shaped nato neck and 12"-radius walnut fingerboard have a comfy, familiar feel, and its dreadnought body makes it ideal for players seeking an acoustic with plenty of power. Additionally, its "Steel Reinforced Neck" is just a nod to the old "stencil" guitars that didn't have adjustable truss rods - the Jim Dandy Dreadnought does indeed have an adjustable truss rod, making it a reliable tool for the modern performer.
