To commemorate 140 years of unmistakable sound, Gretsch proudly presents the Limited Edition G6118T-140 Anniversary Hollow Body - a guitar that honors its past while providing the power & voice for the next generation of visionary players. Powered by the all-new FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, which were designed to capture authentic vintage Gretsch voicing but with a more well-rounded tone for modern playing styles. This powerful pair of pickups provide open & pristine top-end chime, glassy midrange, robust low end & balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments. Fully inspected & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: We actually sold this guitar brand new to one of our longtime customers who just recently traded it back. It's still in marvelous, like new condition & even has the plastic wrap over the pickguard. CLEAN!
Neck: Maple neck with rolled edges. White binding with Luminlay side-dots. 12" radius ebony fingerboard with pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. 22 medium jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Abalone Gretsch headstock inlay & commemorative plaque with Gotoh locking tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, hollow body with bound F-holes. Opulent 2-Tone Pure Platinum over Stone Platinum finish. Solid Adirondack Red Spruce top with ML bracing. Laminated maple back & sides. String-Thru Bigsby B6CP tailpiece & Adjusto-Matic bridge with pinned ebony base. Platinum plexi pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.5 oz.
Electronics: All-new FT-67 Filter'Tron humbuckers with platinum bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls. Individual pickup volume controls, all with jeweled "Arrow" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original COA & paperwork.
