With a big, bold vintage-inspired hollow body sound, the G5420TG Electromatic '50s is an ultra-cool Limited Edition Gretsch. The guitar's arched maple top, oversized f-holes, sound-post bracing, and a big Electromatic hollow body, you get plenty of projection and sustain with a rock-solid in-hand feel. This comfort extends up the neck, which is made of maple with a standard "U" profile and set-neck construction, plus 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid hump block inlays for a little visual flair. And thanks to a fantastic set of Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, you get versatile tone that's great for everything from jazz to rock and anywhere in between. Top everything off with a Bigsby B60 tailpiece, and you get a guitar with unmistakably vintage style, playability, and tone.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. This Gretsch has some minor surface/pick scratches, but is in great shape as a whole. Plus, it comes with fresh strings and low action, courtesy of Cream City Music's signature setup.
Neck: Maple set-neck with Standard "U" profile, rosewood fretboard, 1.685" nut width, 22 Medium Jumbo frets, Pearloid Hump Block inlays, and Vintage-Style Open-Back tuning machines.
Body: Arched Laminated Maple back/sides with Laminated Maple top, finished in Black. Gold hardware, Secured Adjusto-Matic bridge, and Bigsby-Licensed B60G Vibrato Tailpiece.
Electronics: 2 Black Top Filter’Tron pickups with Tortoise Insert. Neck Pickup Volume, Bridge Pickup Volume, Master Volume, and Master Tone controls, with 3-way switching.
