One of the most underrated archtops on the market hands down, this 5th Ave Kingpin showcases equally good acoustic and amplified tone. The natural acoustic resonance is phenomenal and boasts a very high volume ceiling that nearly rivals some standard smaller-body acoustics. Its tonal character is warm yet punchy, a perfect complement to its pair of P-90s.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall with very little signs of use. The frets show barely show any wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double-bound single cutaway hollow body archtop with a Canadian wild cherry top, back and sides in Cognac Burst. Adjustable Tusq bridge. Trapeze tailpiece. Top hat control knobs with silver inserts. Raised 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Guitar weighs 5lbs 5.9oz.
Neck: Medium to slim D shape silver leaf maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. 1 11/16" nut width.
Electronics: Godin Kingpin P-90 single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.
