Now featured as part of the Custom Color Series, it adds exciting new color options to liven up any stage or guitar collection. It features a rounded profile mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, long tenon 19th fret neck joint & a solid mahogany body that provides the backbone for singing sustain. The 490R & 490T Alnico 2 pickups provide the power to drive. A black, 5-ply, full-face pickguard set this SG Standard apart from others - a truly versatile classic. A soft shell case is also included. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a pretty good sized chip out of the top, treble-side corner of the headstock. Aside from that the guitar is pretty clean with various surface scratches along with a few very tiny dents & dings.
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body finished in Translucent Teal. Aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece & Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply large black pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 6.9 oz.
Electronics: Gibson 490R & 490T humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
