What makes this guitar special? This is a unique guitar straight out of Gibson’s 70s catalogues. Based on the reverse-body Firebird, this unusual shape still boasts a mass of familiarity in things like its easy playing neck, simple controls, and HH configuration. The pickups sound fantastic and have a ton of power due to their active status and drive anything this guitar is plugged into. Its overall aesthetic is simple with its black and white theme, but adds a bit of character with additions like gold hardware and a distinct headstock inlay. In addition, it is super clean and has been given a great setup so it plays beautifully.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess a few light surface scratches and small dings throughout the body, but is still very clean and looks fantastic. The frets show very little wear and still have a full lifetime left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Contoured mahogany body in Alpine White. 5-ply black pickguard. Gold tune-o-matic bridge and TP-6 stop bar tailpiece. Black speed knobs.
Neck: Mahogany neck with .818 / .963 profile and bound 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with acrylic block inlays and 120th anniversary banner in the 12th. 1.695” Tektoid nut. Gold Grover locking tuning machines.
Electronics: Gibson GEM active humbucking pickups. 2 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck profile on this guitar is very easy to move around and a comfortable C shape to boot. The pickups sound fantastic and have all the drive and power you could ask for out of humbuckers, due to their active nature.
