Made for only a brief moment in the early to mid '90s, this ultra cool Flying V dates towards the end of the run & features Lonnie's signature look with that unmistakable Bigsby tailpiece. Sporting a big chunky neck & a pair of muscular, yet dynamic sounding humbuckers for exquisite tone. 100% original & professionally set up so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with signs of mild play wear - Various nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & a small crack in the jackplate. Overall the guitar looks marvelous & has a really great vibe to it.
Neck: Nicely rounded, chunky profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Raised Gibson headstock logo & Lonnie Mack signature on the truss rod cover. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works.
Body: Solid mahogany body finished in Cherry. Bigsby B7 tremolo tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. 3-ply white pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 8.46K ohms; Neck - 8.12K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
