Description
Turn heads with this unique J-45 Studio, hand-built using rosewood back & sides with a Sitka spruce top. The slim body depth allows for increased comfort underarm & the flatter fingerboard allows finer playability. Finished in Rosewood Burst & fitted with an active under-saddle pickup for easy studio quality plug & play anywhere.
Cosmetic Condition: Various mild surface scratches & a tiny dent/ding in the top of the body, but otherwise great shape overall & quite clean actually.
Neck: Mahogany neck with some nice flame figuring & white side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, slop shoulder dreadnought with traditional hand scalloped X-bracing. Solid Sitka spruce top in Rosewood Burst finish. Rosewood bridge with compensated saddle. Tortoise pickguard & 3-ring rosette. Solid rosewood back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 11.4 oz.
Electronics; Fishman active under-saddle pickup with soundhole-mounted volume & tone controls. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
