Description
Number 12 of only 150 made, this gorgeous VOS model is a faithful recreation of Duane's '59 Les Paul Standard. The finish is technically Washed Cherry, but it really has more of a Dirty Lemon look to it. The perfedtly shaped, one-piece neck feels exceptionally comfortable & plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. The exposed-coil Custom Buckers sound marvelous & deliver rich, creamy tones with tons of sustain. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some mild play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The guitar was given a VOS treatment at the factory, so the hardware has an "aged" look. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has an ultra cool vibe to it.
Neck: Allman profile, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. One-piece rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Schaller Deluxe tuners with double-lip Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: One-piece solid mahogany body with hand-selected flame maple top. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 11.3 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Custom Bucker Alnico 3 humbuckers with double-black exposed coils & cream bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with custom shroud, pamphlet & hang tag. Unfortunately the original COA is missing.
