Description
This gorgeous R8 started life as a regular Custom Shop '58 Reissue, but was a given a professional "Relic" treatment by Dan Shin at Lay's Guitar Shop in Akron, OH. The back was "aged" from its original Cherry into more of a caramel brown & the AA-figured Butterscotch top shows off some really nice, subtle weather checking. The neck is silky smooth & super comfortable to play anywhere on the fretboard. The double humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver muscular yet dynamic tones. Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" after-factory with various little nicks, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & mild finish "relic". Overall the guitar looks great & is definitely a one-of-a-kind with a super cool vibe all its own!

Body: One-piece, solid mahogany body with AA-grade figured maple top in "aged" Butterscotch finish. Stopbar tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge & nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs a delightful 8 lbs 11.1 oz.
