Description
Based on Robby's '67 SG Standard, this Inspired By Series is number 29 of a limited run of 50 that were aged in the Custom Shop & then signed by Robby on the back of the headstock. A rare model & definite must-have for any serious Gibson or Doors collector. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factory to give it that well-worn "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. Robby Krieger signature in silver marker on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body finished in Dark Faded Cherry. Maestro tremolo tailpiece with lyre engraved on the cover & ABR-1 bridge. 5-ply large black pickguard & aged nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with three "witch hat" knobs & one "top hat" - just like Robby's! All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, paperwork & the original shipping box - now how cool is that!
