A magnificent recreation of one of the giants in the history of Gibson guitars - the '59 Les Paul Standard. This stunning LPR-9 features a gorgeous flame top finished in classic Cherry Sunburst. All the hallmarks of this vintage reissue are present, right down to the beefy mahogany neck & pair of superb sounding humbuckers, delivering rich, muscular tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with signs of mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound, flame maple top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 1.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with cream bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. "Bumble Bee" caps & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA.
