A magnificent recreation of one of the giants in the history of Gibson guitars - the '59 Les Paul Standard. This stunning Lefty features a beautiful flame top finished in a gorgeous Cherry Sunburst. All the hallmarks of this vintage reissue are present, right down to the beefy mahogany neck & a pair of superb sounding humbuckers, delivering rich, creamy tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. In other words, used, but not abused.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots on both sides of the neck. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound, flame maple top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. The guitar was not drilled for the pickguard so we decided not to install it. Unoriginal strap buttons, but the originals are included. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 9.1 oz. - great weight & very resonant!
Electronics: Gibson Custom reissue PAF humbuckers with cream bezels & nickel covers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & "bumble bee" caps. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & hang tag.
