Description
Always a popular model in Gibson's acoustic line, this gorgeous Dove is presented in an ultra cool & rather rare Ebony finish. All the classic hallmarks are there, including the ornate pickguard & bridge inlays. The spruce & maple body project a deep, energetic voice that immediately fills the room when played. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to perform upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with signs of general, mild play wear - various surface scratches along with some tiny nicks & dings, but really nice shape overall.
Neck: Maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Imperial tuners & Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in Ebony finish. Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Tortoise pickguard with Dove & floral motif. Rosewood bridge with mother of pearl Dove inlays. Cream bridge pins & compensated saddle. Solid maple back & sides with 5-ply binding. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 5.4 oz.
Electronics: L.R. Baggs active pickup with soundhole-mounted volume & tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA.
