This gorgeous R7 is a faithful recreation of the outstanding Gold Top guitars Gibson produced in the 50's. Featuring historic appointments such as one-piece mahogany neck and body construction, as well as a period-accurate formula for the Gold finish, this guitar takes all of the features that made the original '57 legendary and uses them to recreate a truly convincing vintage playing experience. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches throughout. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a great vibe.
Neck: Beefy, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Nicely figured rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons & new bone nut. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid, one-piece mahogany body with maple Goldtop & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 1.9 oz. & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Gibson BurstBuckers with cream bezels & nickel covers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & Bumble Bee caps. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There is no COA.
