A highly sought after, discontinued model that Gibson produced as part of their Custom line, between 1986 & 2005. This particular model dates to '03 & sports a gorgeous trans walnut finish with gold hardware. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition - very clean & still like new with some mild surface scratches & light tarnish on the gold hardware.
Neck: Maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gibson diecast tuners with built-in string winders. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Chet Atkins signature on the truss rod cover.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with rounded cutaway & bound F-holes. Multi-bound top & back with pretty flame figuring throughout the body. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge on a floating ebony base with mother of pearl inlays. Tortoise pickguard & arm-rest with 5-ply binding. Gold hardware & guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.9 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Master volume & tone controls with individual pickup volume controls. Black speed knobs & 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
