Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with just a few minor dents & dings and mild surface scratches. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with floral inlay & raised Hofner logo. Gold Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow body with dual F-holes. Carved spruce top with 6-ply binding. Gold trapeze tailpiece with floating ebony bridge. Highly figured, flame maple back & sides with 4-ply back binding & inlaid design in the back. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 5 oz.
Pickup: Unoriginal DiMarzio Virtual PAF active humbucker with gold cover & black bezel. Master volume & tone controls are mounted to the single-ply black pickguard. A 9-volt battery compartment is located in the bottom side of the guitar between the input jack & strap button. An additional EMG neck mounted pickup & pot are included with the guitar. The EMG was at one time previously attached to the guitar, as evidenced by the filled hole at the base of the neck.
Case: Deluxe hardshell case included. The case is in very good condition with only a small tear in the trim.
