The G&L Legacy blends contemporary refinements from the Leo Fender-designed S-500 and Comanche models with classic Alnico V pickups. If your holy grail is faithful Alnico single-coil tone with modern refinements and superb craftsmanship, the Legacy makes for an excellent choice. This axe is no slave to the past, however, starting with Leo's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup. What's more, the Legacy features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. This gorgeous example is part of the Detroit Muscle GT Collection 1 & is finished in an ultra cool Grabber Green. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: #1 G&L Classic C hard rock maple neck with white side-dots. 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Unoriginal Hipshop locking tuners, however, the original G&L tuners are included with the guitar. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Grabber Green. G&L tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & trem arm included. Single-ply black pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.1 oz.
Electronics: G&L CLF-100 Alnico 5 single coils with 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, spec sheet & owner's manual.
