The G&L ASAT Classic is Leo's final word on the traditional single cutaway bolt-on axe & the semi-hollow version takes it further with G&L's distinctive twin voice chambers & f-hole added to a beautiful swamp ash body. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup created by Leo Fender delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the single-coil MFD neck pickup & you'll discover a delectably rich tonal palette, from round clean jazz tones to thick, gritty blues. The semi-hollow body brings a certain "hi-fi" quality to the tone, softening the attack & slightly scooping the mids for accentuated highs & lows. The hard rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2″ radius & Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Hard rock maple neck with black side-dots. 9.5" radius dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. 22 medium jumbo frets are clean with no wear. G&L diecast tuners with 12:1 ratio. 1 5/8 nut width with bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Semi-hollow swamp ash body with single F-hole. Traditional boxed-steel bridge with individual brass saddles. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4 oz.
Electronics: MFD single coils with 3-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs.
