Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a great playing guitar with a classic look and surprisingly good tone. The pickups have all the classic snap and mid-range body that this body shape is well known for. The neck is a bit slimmer than the standard C shape and will be extra comfortable for players who like a trim profile for moving up and down the neck. It’s pretty clean for a used guitar and it’s well-priced to find a home with a player who enjoys a slim neck and a snappy up-front tone.
Condition: This Fernandes is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, and scratches from being played, but still cuts a pretty clean figure and plays great. The frets do show some mild wear but still have a good amount of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and easy and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Contoured body in candy red finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Tremolo bridge system with adjustable saddles. White plastic knobs and switch tip. Nickel/chomr hardware.
Neck: Slim profile maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white doy inlays. 1 5/8” nut width. Vitnage-style tuning machines.
Electronics: 3 single-coil pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector. It is currently wired so the tone knob doesn’t affect the bridge only position.
Weight: 7 lbs 14.6 oz
Playability/Sound: The slim neck on this guitar is a welcome change from the standard c shape guitars of this type are normally equipped with. It plays easily up and down the neck from the nut to cutaway. The pickups sounds surprisingly good and have a lot of classic snap and mid-range body.
Case: Hardshell case included.
