What’s special about this guitar: This is a well-made acoustic thinline Telecaster with a piezo bridge pickup and magnetic neck pickup. Features include a semi-hollow body with a bound top, super comfortable “C’ shaped neck and the versatility of both piezo and magnetic pickups! This guitar offers the feel of an electric with the sound of an acoustic and electric combined. The semi-hollow body design really opens up the sound and helps give the guitar a great acoustic tone.
Condition: This guitar is in good playing condition. It shows plenty of wear and tear with scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the entire guitar along with some finish checking and buckle rash. The fingerboard and frets are in very good shape with only moderate play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod and neck tilt adjustment screw function perfectly. The pickup pan control knob gets very tinny sounding in the middle position but sounds fine when either pickup is selected. Three pearloid markers were also glued into place around this control. All electronics and parts are otherwise in perfect working condition.
Body: Semi-hollow thinline body with a bound maple top in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge with an ivoroid saddle, three knurled control knobs and a single f-hole.
Neck: “C’ shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment screw at the neck heel. Rosewood fingerboard with silver dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gotoh tuners, 25 3/16” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Active electronics with a single-coil magnetic pickup in the neck and a piezo under-saddle pickup in the bridge. Master volume and tone controls and a pickup pan control. The tone control has a detente.
