Description
Since its early-'50s introduction, the Fender Precision Bass guitar has remained the world standard for thick tone and smooth playability. The Standard Precision Bass combines the best of old and new, with a modern single-coil pickup, shielded body cavity, medium jumbo frets, vintage-style bridge, tinted neck with rosewood or maple fretboard, three-ply parchment pickguard and '70s-style headstock logo.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass is in fantastic shape for a thirteen year old instrument. The fingerboard is in great shape and has tons of life left. There are some very mild surface scratches on the front of the body. The pickguard has been replaced with a 'mirror' pickguard, and there is a slight crack in the pickguard directly above the output jack. The back of the body has some 'buckle-rash' and a few minor dings in the finish. All of the electronics and hardware are in fantastic shape. It has various little nicks, dings, scratches, etc., associated with typical playwear.
Neck: This bass is fitted with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with white dot position inlays in a tinted satin urethane finish. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works perfectly.
Body: This bass features an alder body in a polyester finish. This bass weighs a delightful 8 lbs. 11.4 oz.
