Description
Condition: This is a great playing, classic sounding Strat! There are scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument. The body is made by Squier and only the neck is made by Fender in Mexico. The most noticeable wear is on the lower treble side bout (see photos). There is some buckle rash on the back of the guitar and some heavier scratches and scuffs. There are four extra small screw holes on the inside of the neck pocket on the body (see photos). Only one of the bridge saddles has the Fender logo. This suggests the rest have been replaced and are unoriginal. The tortoise pickguard is likely unoriginal, though the back cover plate is likely original. Currently equipped with locking Fender tuners. There are some scratches and dings throughout the back of the neck with an area where the finish has worn off from play wear towards the headstock (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear towards the lower registers. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in candy apple red finish. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo with six individual bent-steel saddles. Skirted parchment control knobs, selector switch, 3-ply tortoise pickguard and a single-ply parchment back cover plate.
Neck: Slender maple neck with skunk stripe down the back, maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Locking fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch. The middle tone control is wired to the neck pickup and the bottom tone control is wired to the middle pickup.
Neck: 6.44K Ohms.
Middle: 6.42K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.44K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a great playing guitar with a classic sound and feel. The pickups have plenty of twang but warm up beautifully on the neck pickup. The slender maple neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
