Description
A super cool parts Strat with an actual vintage '60s neck & Danelectro single coils. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: A very comfortable C-shape maple neck from the '60s, however, the stamp on the bottom is quite faded & difficult to get an exact read on the date. Dark rosewood fingerboard (non-slab) with clay dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. It's a small headstock shape, but we have a feeling it may have been slightly shaved & reshaped a bit. Vintage Kluson Deluxe tuners & single string tree. 1 5/8" nut with; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions just fine. The serial number on the neck plate is L99100, which dates to 1965.
Body: Contoured, solid swamp ash body finished in Seafoam green with a pin-up girl on the back. This is an after-market body & not a true Fender. Tremolo bridge with bent saddles stamped Fender. Trem arm included. 3-ply white pickguard & single-ply parchment trem cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 3.3 oz.
Electronics: Vintage Danelectro "lipstick" single coils with 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with skirted nobs. Modern pots & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included. The middle latch is broken.
