What makes this guitar special: A unique combination to say the least, this seemingly odd pairing of body and neck actually makes for a surprisingly awesome bass in just about every facet. Its neck reigns from ’86, a slim profile Fender Japan crafted Geddy Lee model that has had the back sanded down to the smooth maple underneath, providing an extra smooth and slick surface without the added friction of standard gloss. It is paired with a 2009 Road Worn body that’s seen its share of the road itself, with real versions of the factory wear throughout, making it a much more authentic piece. It comes loaded with Fender Vintage Alnico single-coils, which provide classic up-front punch and a bit of vintage warmth to boot. All in all, it’s a solid bass with a lot of character and even comes with a hardshell case and a professional setup.
Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall. Considering it’s a Road Worn body, the additional wear it has incurred looks pretty natural, but does show various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches, but is still in great playing shape. The frets show mild wear but are even and still have a good amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: 2009 MIM Road Worn. Double cutaway contoured alder body in 3-Color Sunburst Road Worn finish. 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Fixed bridge with threaded barrel adjustable saddles. Black plastic control knobs. .74” deep at the 1st fret and .88” deep at the 12th.
Neck: 1986 Fender Crafted In Japan Geddy Lee Jazz Bass maple neck. Bound maple fingerboard with black block inlays. Open-gear tuning machines with clover keys. 1 7/16” nut width. 34” scale.
Electronics: Fender Standard Vintage Alnico Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups. 2 x volume, 1 x tone control.

Playability/Sound: The neck on this bass is pleasantly slim and somewhere along the lines of its existence, someone has nicely sanded the gloss finish off the back, leaving a smooth surface with considerably less friction. The pickups sound great in both positions with a smooth yet punchy response.
