An original Telecaster master still going strong, James Burton influenced generations of rock guitar royalty with his perfectly phrased late '50s/early '60s Tele work with Ricky Nelson, and his later stints with Elvis Presley, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello and many others only furthered his revered elder statesman status. His was the first signature Telecaster model, and today's James Burton Telecaster is as fiery as ever, with three pickups, special switching, gold hardware, gorgeous paisley-flame finish and more. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Vintage style U-shaped maple neck with black dot inlays. 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. Frets are clean with no wear. James Burton signature on the headstock. Gold Fender tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1.650" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Solid Basswood body finished in black with blue paisley flames & gold trim. String-thru bridge with six adjustable saddles & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.8 oz.
Pickups: Three specially designed James Burton single coils. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 5-Position Blade, Special "Strat-o-Tele" switching & S-1 switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Fender tweed hardshell case included.
