Made for only a brief moment from about 2007 until 2009, the J. Mascis Signature model has been one of the most popular Jazzmasters on the market & still manages to turn quite a few heads over a decade later. This one is super clean & sports the iconic Purple Sparkle finish with gold anodized pickguard. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall - very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: C-shape maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Jumbo frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear & tons of life in them. J. Mascis signature on the back of the headstock. Vintage-style tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid basswood body in purple sparkle finish with matching headstock. Tremolo tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & gold anodized pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.7 oz. Trem arm included.
Electronics: Dual single coil pickups with master volume & tone controls; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
