What’s special about this banjo: This is a great souning Fender 5-string banjo with tons of volume and a super crisp attack! This banjo features a maple pot with an angled tone ring, dual coordinator rods and a double bound resonator, a super comfortable 5-string mahogany neck and machine tuners. This is a great playing banjo with a killer sound for the money!
Condition: Excellent condition! There are a few tiny and faint surface scratches throughout the entire instrument and some minor scratches throughout the metal parts. Some of the gold finish is wearing off the edge of the arm rest but this is barely visible. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: 11” diameter head with 24 lugs on a gold tension hoop. Gold arm rest and tailpiece and a maple-based bridge. Maple pot with dual metal coordinator rods and a 18-hole angles tone ring. Double-bound mahogany resonator.
Neck: Super comfortable mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid inlays and a 1 3/16” nut. Gold machine tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24 ¾” scale length.
