Johnson is famously meticulous in crafting his tone, and every facet of the guitar is designed to Johnson's own detailed specs, from the specially voiced pickups to the extra-contoured neck and body to the distinctive tremolo assembly and much more. Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: One-piece vintage-tint quartersawn maple neck (contours sanded very smooth) with '57-style "soft V" contour. 12"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets & black dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1.650" bone nut; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Light two-piece alder body with deep 1957-style body contours and cavities, finished in two-tone sunburst. Vintage-style tremolo with silver-painted block,'57-style string recess, no paint between base plate and block, and five springs (no tremolo cover). Single-ply pickguard & guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.9 oz.
Electronics: Specially voiced Eric Johnson single-coil pickups with countersunk screws and five-way switching. Master volume, neck tone and bridge tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal, earlier-period Fender hardshell case included.
