The American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster features an ash body finished in Butterscotch Blonde to capture the tone and look of the original. The substantial '51 "U"-shaped hard rock maple neck plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage tall frets. Characteristic of production in 1951, 12th fret face-dot spacing is narrow and the sole Phillips-head fastener on the guitar is at the truss rod nut. The triple brass saddle bridge, single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners and Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster pickups deliver classic twang and authentic Fender style. Professionally set up with fresh strings and low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - exceptionally clean & still practically brand new with only some very mild surface scratches.
Neck: One-piece, 1951 "U" shaped maple neck with 7.25" radius maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. 21 Vintage Tall frets are clean with no wear. Fender Deluxe tuners with round string tree. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid ash body finished in Butterscotch Blonde. String-thru bridge with three adjustable brass "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover included. Single-ply black pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 3.2 oz.
Electronics: Pure Vintage '51 Tele single coils with 3-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled dome knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with paperwork.
