In 1960, Fender offered rosewood as the standard fingerboard wood and launched the Telecaster Custom, an elegant model with a double-bound body and 3-ply pickguard. The American Original '60s Telecaster combines period-accurate sound and style from this electrifying decade with modern, fast-playing feel and pickup switching. Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: Mid-60s "C" shaped maple neck profile with 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. 21 Vintage Tall frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Fender Deluxe vintage style tuners. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles & bridge cover included. 3-ply white pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.1 oz.
Electronics: Two Pure Vintage '64 Tele single coils. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included.
