Description
Condition: This is an extremely comfortable player’s grade guitar designed for fast and smooth playing. There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and small chips throughout the instrument and there is some corrosion/blemishing on some of the metal parts. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. The vibrato arm, back cover plate and locking nut covers are missing. Some solder work has been done and at least one pickup may be unoriginal. All electronics and parts are otherwise in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway body in a metallic red finish. ESP vibrato fine tune bridge, a single knurled control knob and a selector switch.
Neck: Slender maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid/abalone dot inlays and a 1 11/16” metal locking nut. Sealed ESP tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickup in the neck and a DiMarzio humbucker in the bridge with master volume control and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.94K Ohms.
Bridge: 9.11K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 5.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The current neck pickup really adds a nice versatile touch to this guitar. It has a very vintage sound that sounds excellent when combined with the bridge humbucker. The DiMarzio humbucker has tons of output and can provide all the crunch and sustain one would need. All that is needed to complete this guitar is a vibrato arm and the locking nut pieces.
