Description
The ESP Sunburst Tiger is one of the guitars most closely associated with George, going back to the height of his contributions to Dokken in the 1980s. Made by hand by the famous luthiers of the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, this guitar is very similar to George's famous Kamikaze-1 model, but with an amazing graphic finish that evokes the stripes of a big predator, hunting at dusk. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age with some mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches. Overall the guitar looks good & has a cool vibe to it.
Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Jumbo frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. ESP diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" width locking nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body in Sunburst Tiger finish. Floyd Rose tremolo bridge with locking saddles & original trem arm included. Black hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 1.8 oz.
Electronics: Single coil neck pickup (6.52K ohms); Bridge humbucker (9.31K ohms). Master volume with push/pull knurled control knob for pickup switching. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
