Description
What makes this bass special: Simple & to the point, the Epiphone Rivoli has been a mainstay for bass players since its inception in 1959. This fabulous, semi-hollow bass delivers warm, rich tones & a powerful punch thanks to the "choke switch" which either enhances or cuts the bass frequencies. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: A few minor nicks & dings; various surface scratches. There was a professional neck/headstock repair done with some refinishing over that area. It's very difficult to see the repair due to the heavy black finish, but it is very clean & rather well done.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood bridge with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-back chrome tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow body with dual F-holes. 3-point nickel bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard with raised "E" emblem. Bass weighs 8 lbs 10.8 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal DiMarzio DP-120 neck humbucker with black cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 2-way choke switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Hardshell case included.
