Designed in collaboration with Trivium guitarist Matt Heafy, this Les Paul features a weight-relieved mahogany body and a maple top, making it great for guitarists who need a lightweight guitar with a rich, punchy tone. Players will love its fast-playing SpeedTaper D neck profile and contoured neck heel, which allow for exceptional upper-fret access, and its locking Grover Rotomatic tuners that offer outstanding tuning stability.
This beauty doesn't just play great, though - its custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups each have three distinct tones, allowing for tons of sonic versatility. The Alnico neck pickup provides an active high-output alnico humbucker sound, a crisp, clean neck humbucker sound, and a glassy, scooped, hi-fi single-coil sound. If that's not enough for you, flip to the bridge pickup, and you can choose between a high-output ceramic humbucker tone, a high-output passive ceramic humbucker tone, and a cutting, overwound single-coil tone.
