What’s special about this guitar: This is an incredible acoustic for the money! This particular model is an Epiphone Masterbuilt and is made using all solid tone woods. Some of its features include hand-scalloped Sitka spruce braces, mahogany kerfing and a handcrafted dovetail neck joint and hide glue construction. This instrument plays and sounds quite well and has features usually only found on a guitar at least twice its price!
Condition: Very good overall! There are various surface scratches throughout the guitar; most of which are on the pickguard. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound single cutaway body with solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge with a compensated bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and inlaid rings around the sound hole.
Neck: SlimTaper “D” profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid diamond inlays and a 1.68” nut. Open-gear Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: eSonic 2 pickups system with a Shadow NanoMag pickup in the neck and a Shadow Nanoflex pickup in the bridge. Controls include pickup blend, mag/ec control, flex/eq control, master volume, phase and a tuner.
