Description
This limited edition Revolution Casino is number 1492 of only 1965 produced & emulates John Lennon's 1965 Casino that he modified & stripped down to natural finish in 1968. He removed the pickguard, replaced the tuners & changed one of the volume knobs to black. Included with the guitar is the Certificat of Authenticity & original hardshell case with Lennon's image on the outside of the case. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only some mild surface scratches; minor nicks & dings.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing, but the bracket & screws are included. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 5.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson P-90 singles coils with "dog ear" covers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. One black knob is included, like the one Lennon had used. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, original paperwork, cloth bag & guitar pick.
