Description

What makes this guitar special? This Explorer has some gorgeous golden grain streaks throughout its entire body which complement the rich chocolate streaks in the fingerboard. Tiny birdseye dots speckle the back of the maple neck and add a bit of extra character. The gold hardware throughout adds a bit more color dynamic while the black pickups and rings center its figure. The pickups themselves have a nice full response with a decent amount of variance in between each position and with the 2x1 volume and tone controls, give you more than enough room to dial in a few solid tones.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does posses some light surface scratches throughout the body and neck and has ohe large finish crack in the back but is still very clean and looks great. The frets show only light wear and still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Explorer body in Natural gloss finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Gold tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold speed knobs. Black switch tip. Black pickup rings.

Neck: Medium round C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Gold Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width.

Electronics: Seymour Duncan SH1N in the neck and SH-4 in the bridge. 2 x volume, 1 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 12.3 oz

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck on this guitar is familiar and comfortable from the nut to the break in the body and provides a good counterweight to the body for overall balance. The pickups sound good in both positions and blend well with individual volume controls.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
