Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - a real time capsule piece & still like new with only some very mild surface scratches & some minor finish checking along the heel cap.
Neck: Wide profile flame maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Grover Imperial tuners & Chet Atkins signature on the truss rod cover. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 7/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Single-cutaway, semi-hollow flame maple body with bound F-holes. 8-ply top binding & 4-ply back binding. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with wire arm. Adjusto-Matic bridge on a floating ebony base with mother of pearl inlays. Tortoise pickguard & armrest both with 5-ply binding. Gold hardware & the guitar weighs 9 lbs 0.9 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Master volume & tone controls along with individual pickup volume controls all with black speed knobs. 3-way toggle switch & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
