Description
Made in Ireland using a unique one-piece moulding technology, the Chimaera is incredibly strong and stable with absolutely no joints to fail. This strength allows the instrument to be lighter in construction with a top that is delicate and responsive, yet stiff enough to resist the pull of all 18 strings. The strength and stability of the Chimaera means less tuning, more playing, and a rich, shimmering orchestral voice.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only mild surface scratches.
Necks: Carbon fiber neck with white side-dots. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gotoh 510 1:18 ratio tuners in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width on the 12 & 1 3/4" nut width on the 6. Both scale lengths are 25 1/2". Necks are straight & truss rods function fine.
Body: Carbon fiber body with soundholes on the edges. Compensated saddles with abalone dot inlay bridge pins. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4.1 oz.
Electronics: LR Baggs Custom-designed Stereo Pickup System in perfect working condition.
Case: Original deluxe padded gig bag included.
