What makes this guitar special: Simple and classic, this Danelectro U2 is a super clean example of the brand’s modern build of a traditional configuration. The lipstick pickups are chock-full of vintage jangle from the warm and rounded neck to the crisp response of the bridge. The neck is familiar and comfortable and is effortless to move around thanks to its low-friction satin finish. In addition, it is very clean and still plays great for a used guitar, providing a ton of value across the board.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of a few small dings, dents, and light scratches, it is in phenomenal condition for a used instrument and it shows. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and plays well from the nut to the cutaway.
Body: Single cutaway body in Satin Copper finish. Single-ply pickguard with traditional “D” logo. Satin finish trapezoid bridge with uncompensated rosewood saddle. Stacked concentric control knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape neck and rosewood fingerboard with small dot inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines with small white buttons. 1 5/8” metal nut. 25” scale.
Electronics: Danelectro lipstick single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck is familiar and very easy to move around thanks to its satin finish. The lipstick pickups are full of classic jangle in both positions with a bit more warmth and body in the neck and crispiness in the bridge.
