Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a solid recreation of one of Danelectro’s most iconic guitars. Outside of being incredibly light for an electric, it plays very easily between its comfy and familiar C shape neck and slim, simple body shape. The lipstick pickups have a ton of character and provide a good range of tone between the neck and bridge, both of which are chock-full of throwback Dano tone. In addition, the guitar is super clean for a used instrument and comes in a fantastic Blue Sparkle finish.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall, if not better. It shows very few signs of even being played, as there are only sparse minor dings and light scratches throughout, but otherwise, its in stellar condition for a used instrument. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway masonite body in Blue Sparkle finish. Single-ply white pickguard. Fixed chrome trapezoid bridge with adjustable saddles. Black plastic control knobs.

Neck: Slim to medium C shape neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Vintage-style chrome tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25” scale.

Electronics: Lipstick single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 5 lbs 13.1 oz

Playability/Sound: The c shape neck should should be familiar and comfortable for a wide variety of players. The lipstick pickups have a ton of character with mild low end and a nicely pronounced upper mid-range response in the neck and lots of crispy jangle in the bridge.

Case: Includes original Gigbag and pocket amp.
