Developed by Mark Erlewine & ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons in the late '70s in Austin, TX, the Chiquita Travel Guitar is the perfect road companion. Compact & tons of fun to play, this one features a single coil neck pickup & a humbucker in the bridge with master volume control. Set up & ready to play.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 19" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid alder wings & top binding. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. Guitar has a total length of 27" & weighs 4 lbs 0.8 oz.
Electronics: Neck single coil - 4.12K ohms; Bridge humbucker - 8.24K ohms. Master volume knob & 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original canvas gig bag with original paperwork.
