Description
What makes this guitar special? This is an extremely well-made Carvin bass with great aesthetic elements and versatile controls. The most immediately noticeable aspect is the gorgeous and evenly-figured flame maple top, which looks especially great under a Tiger’s Eye gloss finish. Its combination of a single-coil in the neck and humbucker in the bridge provides an already good range of tone, but with the additional treble, mid, bass, and sweep controls, plus a pickup blend, offer up a massive array of solid sounds from smooth and creamy to punchy and up front. Its other appointments like gold hardware and a matching headstock cap off what is an already outstanding bass for the price.
